It’s “White Man’s Burden” all over again with these people. They’ll call third world countries barbaric and transphobic while downplaying or ignoring how the Imperial Core hurts the trans people in those countries. They use bad faith identity politics to justify imperialism and give scraps to minorities within their own countries to maintain the charade.

I don’t see it happening.

Norway does not care about the welfare of trans people, and while several smaller parties are trying to gain support by advocating a more confrontational line against Trump, the three major ones are still very hesitant to upset the US.
