If someone else has mentioned this, I apologze… I’m still figuring out how to really search a group.
When I turn my phone sideways, and the screen rotates, I’m logged out and my account is removed, having to be added back again. Is that a known issue or a skill issue?
OP you are not crazy. I was just able to reproduce it with my phone! On the main homepage while i would rotate the screen back and forth it was changing my communities from sub to local and then all of a sudden it logged me out! Not only did it log me out, it took a good 5 tries or so to get logged back in!
I took video of it happening but stopped it before realizing i got logged out.
I’m using a Galaxy S10 with the .34 alpha release.
Are you able to reproduce it at will? If so, please try clearing the Jerbia cache and see if it continues. I vleared my cache, and whie I am still testing, it actually seems to hve stopped, at least for now.
If this bug didn’t sound so anoying, it would be almost comical. Have not had it happen to me (although app does close a lot when opening up stuff)
Hope the wonderful devs can get it sorted out though :)
Just tried and my Jerboa does not have that feature. Disappointing! 🤣
I hate to say it, but that is disappointing. If it’s just me, I’m probably just going to be stuck having a real hard time using Jerboa on my phone.
I recommend reporting the bug as an issue on their github, with information about your phone and OS version etc.
https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/issues/455 is a related issue, but not exactly what you’re experiencing.
Similarly, I have had an issue where if I rotate my phone to view an image in a post, it just kills the app.
Just tested it on my 0.0.34 install on pixel6 Yup. Logged out. And if you have multiple user profiles, the active profile is still the one you started with. So to log back in you have to select a different profile and then switch back again. Weird bug 😂
That’s a really weird issue lmao, hope it gets fixed
Does it happen to you? What phone do you use? Mine is admittedly a Moto 5G, it’s pretty low end.
Doesn’t happen to me and I’m even lower end with the previous Moto :/ really weird
