But I click on something to upvote, the click registers, but then does not complete and the counter resets to what it was before I clicked.
I also notice very slow posting of things like this, or comments on existing posts. I’ve got a modern computer and gigabit fiber.
Happens with me too, it’s likely the server being overloaded with requests. Though keep in mind there are places where downvotes are disabled, but there’s no UI for actually telling you that so downvotes might simply not work in certain posts from some instances.
Yup, exactly this. The lemmy devs are working hard to improve the app to handle all the new users but for now things will be a bit slow :)
