I don’t know if they got automatically sent to a spam filer or something and mods just removed them without thinking about it too much, but it is just very weird.

Yeah, the system kind of sucks in that sense cause its really hard for new people to even get the karma to participate in karma-locked subs in the first place. Hopefully, lemmy will soon be large enough that we don’t have to use reddit anymore though.
