Since I got a motorcycle all of my shoes have been riding shoes, and there’s plenty of casual ones that are comfy for walking in. All these listings have their armor rating, which corresponds decently to how well made they are and how tough their materials are, and you can read an explanation of motorcycle armor ratings here since otherwise it’s just a bunch of random numbers and letters.

But I agree about regular shoes. The best thing you can say about them is that they’re lightweight.
