I’ll save this for a future watch, I have a copy of Harris’s book and want to give it a read. But work and the demands of life always get in the way. There are definitely some criticisms of the Neo Ricardian/Neo Keynesian school that followed Sraffa (e.g. Shaikh’s criticism in his article The Poverty of Algebra) but I think its still too useful to completely dismiss. Pasinetti’s and Ian Wright’s work have been pretty influential for me, and I think Wright incorporates Shaikh’s criticism to Sraffa’s framework. And he also has been working toward thinking through more dynamic models instead of living only on the world of equilibrium models. Thanks for sharing this video!
