It’s all a bit hectic, but it’s fun just chatting with people, swapping food and smoking cigs on the platforms when the train stops every now and then.

The US and Australia are basically the same size as China and would benefit so much from connecting major cities long distance with fast overnight trains. But instead Chicago -> SF is like a 3 day journey. And down under, imagine if people from Perth were permitted to travel to the East coast?
