The kiddo is very five: strong opinions, and testing whether lying to or ignoring the parents works. She’s starting to understand that there’s a reason why we ask her to do certain things in certain ways, but she gets impatient. She had her birthday recently, and I’m more and more excited to see the type of person she’ll grow into.
She’s also clearly glad to be in kindergarten. She’s finally over pre-school, and by the end of summer camps she was ready to learn. She’s more social at home and is excited to go to class. That helps take the sting off my unintentional break semester of college.
