They are not stopping. Huawei also claims their Ascend 910B chip is at least at Nvidia A100 level (they claim better obv), which should be enough to keep them in the game for AI stuff if they can make them in large quantities.

(A100s are still so fucking expensive I would gladly accept a 910B… President Xi plz.)
