What is it?
Qiuwen Baike (qiuwenbaike.cn) is a fork of Chinese Wikipedia (zhwiki), founded after the September 13 incident on key members of the Wikimedians of Mainland China.
This website complies with relevant Chinese laws and adopts objective point of view based on Chinese values.
It was fully launched on June 2023, few weeks before Russian Wikipedia fork called Ruwiki.ru released in beta.
Qiuwen Baike is one of better alternatives to the popular Baidu Baike for users in China.
Wikipedia banned a lot of users from mainland China in 2021. Lin Biao also died on the same date in 1971 when his plane crashed.
