The Covenant and Banished are no better. The Covies are batshit insane and I argue is worse than the UNSC because it’s literal space apartheid (no wonder why the Great Schism happened). Then there’s the opportunistic Banished. I’m not sure what would a Marxist in 2560 think of the Banished but that’s the last group I am swearing allegiance to, doubly so given their seemingly reactionary nature.

Also I wouldn’t say exterminated. There’s probably some communist Insurrectionists that either went into hiding or successfully seceded during the Human-Covenant War (I hope it’s the latter) like Venezia.
