Do harm reduction voting if you want. I do that to- I voted for Biden. But it’s not enough. Trans people need help now. If you read my article’s call to action (which, despite you claiming to have read it, you repeatedly demonstrate that you haven’t by bringing up electoralism), I advocate for direct action. Doing things like showing up to your local school district’s board meetings (fascists like moms for liberty are already there, even if you’re in a blue state. Don’t let them monopolize the conversation.). I ask for people to show up and counterprotest when fascists target drag shows. I ask for people to participate in protests of civil disobedience, as well as to lend their couch to the their local trans person at risk of homelessness. That has a much more tangible real life impact on trans people right now than virtue signaling by democratic politicians.

Suggesting to everyone what they can do, and how- in and of itself is a great way to shine a light on necessary and urgently needed changes to pressing civil issues- but….

slandering an entire political party for not helping as much as you’d like?

Isn’t the right way to go about it.

Especially when they seemingly bend over backwards to try and help- despise strong opposition.

Fuck your civility politicking. Fuck your tone policing. Fuck your optics pearl-clutching. None of those change the facts we live under. Actually do better, actually get in your politicos’ asses to make them stop supporting the manifold genocides they fund, and maybe you won’t get slagged-- 'cause right now, your genocidaires are moving obviously to line their own pockets and maintain their own comforts.
