Hell yeah. Picking a single favourite season is tough, but the run of seasons 10-12 are the highlights for me. I like the eclare storylines so much lol. Currently we just finished s1 of Next Class (started s1 of TNG).
As far as characters go Eli is at the top, then in no particular order: Alli, Hollie J, Esme, Paige, Rasha, Miles, Adam. There are definitely more, but the later seasons are more fresh for me atm. I also generally just prefer later Degrassi which is possibly a hot take? The original seasons feel dated
Nice, I agree with you on pretty much everything haha. 10-12 is definitely peak. I even like season 11 a lot even though it gets hated on. The gang storyline with Vince was really bad lol, but I really liked pretty much everything else in that season.
It’s nice to see another Alli fan! All of my friends hate her, but she’s one of my favs lmao. They also thing I’m mentally ill for like Esme so much (and they’re right lol.) Holly J is definitely up there for me also, along with Fiona. Oh shit and I loooove Becky. Her story arc in season 13 surrounding Zoe was possibly the highlight of the entire series for me. I thought I was gonna hate Miles when he was first introduced, but I loved him by the end of the show. Eli is number 1, but I feel like that goes without saying lmao.
Have you watched through Next Class before, or is this your first time? I’m assuming yes since you mentioned Rasha, but I don’t wanna spoil anything. I just watched it for the first time about a month ago. I thought it kinda sucked, but in a way that was at least enjoyable to watch lol. It helped that the seasons were only 10 episodes each. I think they were probably consistently better than the low points of seasons 13/14, but I still think those seasons had moments that were better than anything in Next Class, idk.
