= ???like, if the maglev is Eastbound, moving with the spin of the earth, does it end up contributing to the field generated by the liquid iron flowing around the Earth’s core? What if it’s Wesbound, moving against the spin? Or going North/South, perpendicular to the liquid iron flow?
Magnetic force falls off very quickly with distance. The only reason magnetosphere is even detectable is because there’s a phenomenally huge glob of molten iron at the core. The magnetic force from the rail is basically localized to the track.
