Registered as Dem to vote for Bernie in the 2016 primaries and have been inundated ever since. It’s a constant reminder of how naive my optimism for a more progressive Democratic party was. And maybe related, but I’m in my 40s and have never had jury duty up to that point. Since registering Dem, I have been summoned TWICE.
I changed my registration for that election to caucus for Bern, he won my state, lotta good that did lmao.
The only time I’ve ever been called for jury duty, I couldn’t go, because it was in a different county. I was disappointed, planned on ninjaing my way in and then telling everyone about jury nullification.
