          Exactly, you gotta put on a show for the hoi polloi every 4 years where people get to pick the clown that’s going to be the face of the regime. It’s a pretty clever system cause a lot of people get really invested in the whole elections business, and the idea of a deep state is dismissed as a cooky conspiracy theory by the mainstream media.
