Right here, it says I was banned for “weak effort narcissism”. In the controversial thread in question, Stamets says he’s fully aware of issues concerning ableism when he uses the word “narcissist”, so this isn’t ignorance or misunderstanding a word, he fully 100% knowingly and intentionally banned me for having NPD.
I’m sure it had nothing to do with the harassment.
If Stamets were not an ableist, then Stamets would have mentioned only harassment and not brought my mental disorder into it. Also I didn’t do any harassment, I simply called Stamets a bigot. Which isn’t harassment, it’s just the truth, as proven by the fact Stamets banned me for having a mental disorder.
I’d say that reason is not the disorder itself but rather your behaviour that is likely a result of having that disorder. That may be seen as ableism, but as your behaviour seems counterproductive I would say it’s correct to restrict you from participation until you achieve some ways of less toxic communication
There’s nothing toxic about my communication. And if there was, Stamets would have a valid reason to ban me. But he doesn’t. His ban says narcissism, not toxic communication. He didn’t include any valid reasons in the ban. His ban says I was banned for ban evasion, which isn’t a community rule, moderator harassment, which didn’t happen, disinformation, which didn’t happen, and “weak effort narcissism”. “Weak effort narcissism” isn’t a nuanced description of the behaviour of a mentally ill person, it’s a shitpost. It’s a 4chan insult. And it’s targeting not a behaviour, but a mental disorder.
Well, ban message could do with some improvement, too
The improvement it could do with is not being hateful against mentally ill people. Which is the same improvement Stamets himself could do with.

My life is in order, I have excellent coping mechanisms and my NPD is only a problem when someone else chooses to make it a problem. Please don’t assume someone is unhealthy just because they have a disability again.
