That’s very funny, I haven’t touched the original since I was a kid and I remember that Yuffie and Tifa were options if you selected the right dialogue, but I never heard about Barrett.
Barret was a potential option for the Gold Saucer date in the original Final Fantasy 7, but it was really a joke scene for players who completely ignored the other party members.
Thankfully, Barret gets the romance he deserves in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

The shader does looks buged. Like its trying to model transparency or some sort of fancy ligth effect, but the relevant texture file is missing.
