    I still think it’s a risky endeavor to tell people to “strike” without union backing or without much information in general. It might be ok if half the workforce was on the antiwork subreddit, but we don’t have those numbers.

    I’d rather grow a resilient base that can do organized action. It’ll teach people more and last longer and thus achieve more.

      I agree there are other strategies that can be done but I still think this is a good one.

      They are telling people to call in sick. If the movement ends up being small then employers probably won’t hear about it, even if they do hear about it there is still plausible deniability.

    Black friday blackout would be glorious. It strikes to the heart of consumerism and labor theft. I wish them all the best (I’ll be participating at least with not buying anything).
