No and its not your hardware either, just throw it away.
iirc there is a way to delink accounts on the headset afterwords, but of course you have to eventually sideload everything you want to do (e.g Sideloader).
its still fundamentally android, so anything you wanted to disable cam be done if you have the expertise for it (e. g can freeze updates via sideloading a file explorer)
Idk from my perspective AR and VR where basically stillborn, so for me its out of question to just throw them away.

If you head to the Meta site and login with the email address associated with your Oculus account, you can go through the process of turning it into a Meta account. Aside from losing access to games and in-app purchases if you don’t do this, you’d also lose your existing store credits, achievements, friends list, and any content created with the Oculus account.
