Yeah, I don’t know either. I feel bad because I have definitely seen it make some people uncomfortable because of the sex-negative angle, but I’m not convinced it would be helpful to remove it outright either.
maybe we need to genuinely push it farther. start stealing so much dumb stuff that conservatives say as part of their brainworms until anyone who unironically agrees with it is forced to self-crit. but since it would stay around as a meme it would still work to prevent weird discussions
