It’s kinda rude to put it that way, i mean nobody chooses to be cis. Some cis people don’t even look cis and i know one or two (potentially) cis people that come off extremely normal to me.

i don’t think so, i mean i support the cisgender community as much as anyone else. some of my best friends are cis! but we shouldn’t let children think it’s normal

I wouldn’t support them, cis parenting is inherently abusive. Cisness is unnatural and the only way to enforce it is coercion.

    Circa 2050

    “So when did you transition?”

“Uh, actually I was born male, so…”

“YOU’RE CIS! How could you not tell me?”

“I didn’t think it was a big deal!”

You should have dragged it out a bit more…

“Uh, actually I was born male, so…”

“You haven’t transitioned yet? I’m so honored you told me! Want some estrogen?”

      nervous cis noises

“Did you already take some today? You could probably use it to be honest…”

“You don’t mean you’re cis, do you?!”

disclaimer: i’m not against cis ideology or anything, cisgender women are just as valid as real women!! but should we really be normalizing this? cis “people” are way too bland to pick their own names. i’m not cisphobic or anything, in fact one of my best friends is cis!

It’d be real nice if this was an actual policy. Overall, it cost me roughly $600 and took me 4 months to change my name, and that was without a lawyer and me filing everything.
