This video shows a map of the development of North Korea’s railway lines through history and up to the present day along with some narration explaining the developments.

The DPRK’s Railway Network encompasses over 4700km of track crisscrossing the northern half of the Korean peninsula. Many of the lines were originally built by the Japanese during the 1910-45 Japanese occupation.
