    lake-effect snow

I never heard that term so I checked Wikipedia. That was a mistake. This is far better - there’s a big, simple graphic: What is a Lake Effect Snow?

Rant. I love Wikipedia but the editors can be annoying. Many of the most active editors must hate simple graphics or charts, etc at the very top of the page. If a visual aid is there right at the top of the page - a lot of people spend a lot less time reading their edits. Maybe they leave the page nearly right away. The editors want you on the page reading their edits.

I’ll never forgive them for undoing the post chapo edits of Dreher’s page. The world needs to know his porn habits.
