“Terrorism” is simply a term of legitimization and de-legitimization. It legitimizes the violence of the oppressor (in this case israel: “they have to combat terrorists / terrorism”) and de-legitimizes the violence of the oppressed (Hamas, but really the entirety of Palestine: “they’re just terrorists, they totally just want to terrorize people and be assholes because they’re like that”).

More than that they are literally calling them Nazis now in an extremely twisted justification of genocide.
