A national health system is so hard that only 32 of the top 33 developed nations have figured out how to do it.
Of course, I’m not convinced that the US truly counts as a developed nation anymore. Being a developed nation is a moving target which requires self investment to continue to build and maintain your infrastructure, society, and skill base to keep up with. The US stopped seriously investing right around President Regan’s time and we have been coasting ever since. We’re the world’s richest sorta developed nation.
What other wealthy nation doesn’t have socialized healthcare? I hope they didn’t spend too much researching this…
