This looks like a game that a really dedicated fan would make demonstrating what Sonic in an open world setting would look like. Not a game from a “AAA” studio. And I don’t feel that realism suits a Sonic game anyways. I’d rather see an mmorpg in that world.

It reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus, it looks nice, I don’t know what kind of story they would insert there, though, everything seems so relaxing and different than I can’t think of it. It clearly won’t be a super master piece in terms of narrative but let’s hope they do a decent job at mechanics and gameplay.
