I’ve noticed that when I try to view the literature community at hexbear.net via this account and my usual Lemmy client, it is missing almost all posts, but there are many posts I can see if I just open hexbear.net in a web browser.

Any idea what is going on there? Sorry if this is a known issue and I’m just out of the loop :(

I have noticed this issue as well, and I have seen someone describe it as an issue hexbear has with federation in general (the same thing happens for lemmy.ml users).

Thanks for letting me know you’ve seen this as well! I guess for now the workaround is to also have a hexbear account, which is easy enough but a bit of a shame since there are so many shared topics and values on the two instances.

Depending on the posts missing, it could just be that posts from before federation are never federated. So anything older than a couple months can only be seen from a Hexbear account.

Interestingly there are two posts from a couple months ago and nothing else. Stuff from this week is missing.
