Plasma is the Desktop Environment developed by the KDE community. Version 6 of Plasma will be developed, built and shipped on top of Qt 6.

I am new to daily driving Linux and the DE environment I chose was KDE. Has been absolutely fantastic so far.

as a staunch gnome user for 20 years, Gnome 3+ and Plasma 6 work has me thinking I’ll dip over to the other side once it’s out and stable

Good to know! I assume everything in my cobbled-together KDE setup will break with KDE6 so I will plan accordingly lol.
Can’t wait for Kubuntu to get it!
