Is the vast majority of the population deficient in gamma-linoleic-acid? It’s made by the body from linoleic acid, which is abundant in vegetable oils and meats, both of which most people consume in hefty amounts.
Interesting, there does seem to be some studies suggesting some positive outcomes in certain populations associated with GLA supplementation, though I couldn’t find mountains of studies. It’s mildly correlative, but it does seem possible there’s something, cool.
