Allegedly its because the state is going to make its own insulin with CalRX, which would be cool. But saying that makes this redundant doesnt add up. Do you want your state made insulin to be expensive?

I suspect Newsome doesnt want redundancy because he doesnt want the state made insulin. He’ll probably later sabotage the CalRX insulin production.
