    I think Stroll is a prime example for how fucking brutal it can be to get dominated by your team mate. I think the only driver in recent years that was in a similar situation and didn’t fall off a cliff was Bottas, who clearly was no match for Hamilton, but still delivered what was expected of him. Checo apparently can’t do that against Verstappen, and it’s obvious that Alonso has completely destroyed Strolls confidence.

      It was misplaced confidence anyway when a grown man has to rely on Daddy’s help all the time.

        I think Stroll had seasons in which he showed that he could be a decent midfield driver. He has the potential to be better than his “daddy bought a team for me” stigma.

    F1 outlets keep referring to that 7th season failure as talented as if they’d get punished if they said otherwise…
