The federal tax agency placed a lien on a property belonging to Giuliani in Palm Beach, Florida, public records show.

Former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani owes more than half a million dollars in federal taxes and faces a lien on a property he owns in Florida, according to a recent court filing.

The unpaid balance of $549,435.26 in federal taxes for 2021 was revealed in an August notice that said the IRS was placing a lien on Giuliani’s property in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Daily Mail first reported Giuliani’s tax debt, which comes as he faces mounting legal woes, and fees.

Last month, Giuliani’s former lawyers sued him over allegations that he had not paid legal fees that they said amounted to $1.36 million. Giuliani responded to the lawsuit by saying the dollar amount being sought was excessive.

    This just gave me a funny image of like someone who runs up their credit card because they got tricked by some cultist that the end of the world is coming but then the world doesn’t end.

    Like Rudy just living luxuriously spending every dollar anyone would loan him, just waiting for the fascist takeover, in which he imagined himself in some marble mansion eagle’s nest somewhere, surrounded by gold teeth and priceless paintings looted by secret police from the homes of immigrants, gay, trans, and Jewish people, and all the Soviet-bloc handremoved one could dream of, but in the end he just gets disbarred and arrested and all his lawyers quit and theirs a $500k tax lien on his house.
