The reason the system didn’t support Trump’s overthrow of democracy is that in Biden they saw someone who was competent enough to get us through the pandemic and back to working for the masters but would never give us any sort of actual power. I love that the judge gets to sentence him after this stunt. It’ll be hard for the judge to maintain a straight face when this asshole inevitably reads his prepared statement about remorse and personal responsibility.
I wouldn’t get my hopes up. The same judge gave a domestic terrorist house arrest. I think “I think he learned his lesson” is a likely sentencing excuse here
