you can’t assume someone is a Nazi just because they volunteered for the Nazis and served in a Nazi division and views his time under the Nazis as the pinnacle of his life! If you think he’s a Nazi just for doing that then you’re the real nazi 
Even if this were true, if someone somehow Mr. Beaned himself into the ranks of the SS without supporting the nazis, why would you ever feel the need to defend them if you were not yourself a fascist? Surely there are better things to do online.
