Nothing like doing a bunch of compliance training while your manager slow walks your promotion. I don’t think I’ll ever work in consulting again. I’m doing Senior Software Engineer level of tasks, while getting paid an entry level salary. I’m certain that slow walking the promotion is a tactic - like a carrot on a stick.
