Rotenberg was allowed to withdraw his funds in April 2022, after promising not to transfer them to Russia or Belarus.

Why? Finland, you supported world in war against Putin, but now you give money to Putin’s friend and oligarch?

Edit: apparently it was one oligarch helping another.

    Paikallisosuuspankki is an idealistic co-op bank with perhaps more than a little communist sympathies. That might explain this, in some historical and twisted way.

    And after a fusion with a couple of other co-op banks, they started arbitrarily calling themselves “Suomen Osuuspankki” i.e. “The co-op bank of Finland”, which is a bullshit name if you ask me.
