    Require big extras plus signing bonus to cover the time and frustration of being laid off.

    Then spend your free time interviewing with other companies that better match your expectations

        Yeah, I’d be getting a lawyer to write up the employment agreement. Have a 5 year contract. They can lay me off, fine, but if they do they need to pay out the remaining salary on the contract.
