    I love how the “fake” is in quotes, as though they’re only technically fake.

      Realistically, I think that’s to protect the news outlet from being sued by Amazon. Basically they’re saying “allegedly fake”.

      If Amazon is paying them to defend the company then aren’t they technically real employees?

        That depends if it’s actual warehouse workers that are being hired for this role because that’s what these accounts are posing as.
