“Okay, sooooo…with no tax revenue or money, zero education, and no energy…that’s still a country somehow right? How does this work???”

They also inform the nation’s energy policies, meaning taking responsibility for federally funded energy transportation and coordination.

That and more. They have a mandate for nuclear nonproliferation, but it’s more accurate to think of them as America’s R&D lab. The National Labs are fucking incredible! They are so much more than the DoD’s innovation lab. They do a ton of research that isn’t possible for the private sector. They also own and make available equipment that is difficult for individuals to maintain for example: Fermilabs has a particular accelerator, Sandia has the Z machine and a MEMS foundry, and Oak Ridge has one of the most powerful supercomputers and several labs focusing on neutron and nuclear power. Fuck just look up the patents and Nobel Prizes for Lawrence Livermore, Argonne, and Los Alamos. Yes there is a ton of nuclear but they cover so much more. They’re amazing and a national treasure!

Yup. They oversee the nuclear weapon stockpile, as well as all the fissile materials- including weapons grade stuff- in the US.

Feudalism. We already live in a system of neo digital feudalism where you own nothing. DeSatan master of the Dick Handle state is aiming to bridge our digital and analog feudal future faster than it is happening without him.

Feudalist societies still have taxes. Traditionally it was laborors offering part of they harvest to the owners of the land on which they worked, which actually now that I say that just sounds like corporate america is a feudalist society. Gross.

But anyway, without money there would basically be no federal government as there’s no way to pay any of them (except for the corrupt ones, so all the law makers are still there). With literally 0 money, we’d be in a perpetual government shutdown, and basically the 50 states would start acting as independent nations under their own ruleset. Sure, they could still adhere to federal will, but with what justification? If someone commits a federal crime that’s not explicitly criminalized state-level, who’s getting paid to prosecute? What incentive is the US giving to states to remain on the same page with national law? They can’t even take any incentives away as punishment because they wouldn’t have been able to pay for any existing incentives to begin with.

Maybe he thinks that it’ll just work like an honesty box. That would level things out actually because it does act like an honesty box for the super rich already.

We all buy guns and ammo and go mad max. DOJ exists but if there are enough crimes, it won’t be paid enough to handle them all. Also, people would just kill cops with ACAB mentality. They’ll run out eventually.
