I mean you can understand why he did it. If a person you are close to is accused of the same thing you would do the same. And when is saying “innocent until proven guilty” became a bad thing. Are we really starting to persecute people people before they are proven guilty? I understand what he did damaged lot of lives but also understand there are people who falsely accused others and ruined their lives. Now coming to ashton being a hypocrite and not giving same benefit of doubt is not something i can comment on because I do not follow his life. My understanding is that the letter he and Mila wrote in defense of Danny was after Danny was found guilty. They were asking for a more lenient sentence.
I don’t follow celebrity or pop culture so it doesn’t make it to my radar till they do some dumb shit like this and show their true colors.
It’s like there’s 3 decent people in all of Hollywood. But yeah, celebrities are not your friends. And anyone involved in NFT is the scum of the earth.
I have to assume this is all Ashton and Mila is just trying to be supportive of whatever the fuck he’s doing. He wants to be some sort of tech investor and either doesn’t have the smarts or the morals to avoid NFTs.

Ashton has long been trying to be part of the Silicon Valley investor scene. I seem to remember him being early in Airbnb and using it to basically live for a year as a way to promote it. So it makes sense he’s get involved in crypto stuff when it’s where all the hype was at.
I don’t ever hear Mila talking about this stuff, but she has done a lot of voice acting. So it would make sense for him to ask her to get onboard with it. She’s going to trust her husband who is into this stuff. I’m sure she didn’t do a deep dive on crypto and land on the idea that her husband was trying to get her onboard to defraud a bunch of people with his new idea.
