this community has a sole goal of making the fediverse big enough to compete with popular social media platforms of today, and even replacing them altogether as our endgame.

edit; this is not just for a lemmy community. as mentioned below, we have a wide variety of things that were gonna do in the future. so were not just confined to a sublemmy, obviously. more like a community organization. see the previous post.

    the thing is, this thing is not just for lemmy. I’m looking for a name that we could use universally for our community. (since were gonna do github projects, have our own website, a youtube/peertube channel, etc. … maybe even take over the world lol, just joking :) )

      How about making the name obvious, so someone can easily know what it is about when seeing it in stuff like the list of communities on lemmy.

      Then maybe “the fediverse promotion project”.

      This sounds pretty similar to the Federated Networks Association which hosts some projects on the subject we distritute and fediverse.party.

      It might make more sense to collaborate with an existing organisation then starting a new one.

        I’ll collaborate with them maybe, but as a separate community, they have a similar vision. but mine is entirely different from how we approach things. creativity is the key here. to stand out. and viral marketing.

        I’m working alone right now, so It’ll take a while before the next step.
