I think it was started with that kinda early internet libertarian pirate type vibes, it’s a “festival” where you basically go out into the same spot in the Arizona desert every year, build a city for a week with absolutely no rules except like no murder, and then at the end you burn it all and clean it up like no one was ever there. Maybe a cool concept, but, it kinda just got filled with rich people who could actually afford it.
