Hey all - the consensus seems to be that HDR simply isn’t there which is a HUGE bummer for a space game, and especially strange since it’s listed on the store page. No man’s sky and the mass effect series (especially andromeda for this specifically) look STUNNING on an OLED with HDR.

If anyone finds a console command, tweak, workaround etc to enable it unofficially please post it!

Wouldn’t this depend more on the GPU and the display than anything else? If the game has HDR support, you just need the hardware to enable it.

Not in this case. I’m using a 3090 and an LG C2 OLED, both extremely competent for HDR games. In fact I’m not sure if I’ve played anything this year that didn’t support it (outside of a few indie games).

There’s simply no option to enable it in settings, and it doesn’t kick on automatically. This TV will also flash an HDR logo if it gets an HDR signal, and very obviously kick into that mode.
