    If your idea of revolution includes “burn it down and sort it out later” you’re part of the problem. If you cannot describe in detail good enough for implementation how to create a functional replacement you will end up as one of the dozens of failed dictator communist states as power is seized by whoever manages to get their people in the door with guns first.

    In America, both political parties have extremists willing to do that. Neither of them I want in power.

    Fixing what we have is the better solution, as the northern European socialist states have made clear. But grassroots political activism and actual plans for governance are hard, and rioting with no plan is fun/easy.
