Really surprised they cut Patrick Taylor. Guy worked hard to make the team! Thought they’d try to get Wilson on the practice squad
Honestly thought Taylor was PS bound regardless of the Wilson situation. He was on and off PS all year so there wasn’t really a fear of losing him. Keeping Wilson pleasantly surprised me…keeping Newman though…
Yeah I’m not so sure about Newman either. Also our safety position in general makes me a little nervous. I don’t feel like those guys will be able to keep it together all year
11 offensive lineman seems absurdly high and 4 corner backs absurdly low. I’m sure it will switch to 10 and 5 respectively once Stokes is activated, but that still seems like a risk for the pass defense unit.
Also kinda surprised by 6 OLBs, that’s higher than usual isn’t it?
Yeah we usually keep around 6 CBs, 9-10 OL, 5 edge guys. Definitely a stranger year proportionally but were still waiting for IR moves and waiver claim stuff. With PS game day elevations I’m not too concerned about rolling with 4 CBs temporarily.
