For more serious advice… Your wallet will thank you if you learn craft skills for repurposing old, unwanted clothes. I managed to repurpose an old Grim Reaper costume from my childhood into a sort of impromptu gothic miniskirt, and I made one little snip into a pair of boxer-briefs to make them into a perfectly-fitting sports bra. There are lots of tutorials for doing this sort of thing.
I’ve been slowly teaching myself how to sew, which has been helpful. I can’t say I’m especially good at it yet, but it’s come on handy here and there so far!
