It’s a shame but it’s also true none of the options are a real alternative to Twitter. Twitter’s main strength comes from the number of creators it has and the discoverability of content for general users. None have succeeded in breaking it.
I think it’s a great platform for people who like celebrities or talking heads. I don’t care about those people so I was more into reddit where it was more like anonymous peers. Lemmy takes the place of reddit super well but I could see why Mastodon doesn’t because there are no celebrities or talking heads.
