America might finally be able to watch the spectacle of a former president being criminally indicted live on their television and phone screens. A judge in Fulton County, Georgia -- where a grand jury is contemplating that exact indictment -- ruled Monday morning to allow cameras in the courtroom if and when such indictment occurs.
Kinda weird it doesn’t really say why. Like in practice maybe it doesn’t matter but I’m curious if this is a “in this state we always allow cameras and we’re not making an exception” ruling or a “this is in the public interest” ruling.
