most stuff on playstore works on all devices, so thats probably why you never saw one. i only discovered th`t because i had(and still have) a phone thats way older than most people’s

Interesting. Maybe it thought you owned more than one device and was showing you things that you could install on one of those?

I have an original Galaxy Tab. Searching for apps for it last year didn’t give many useful results.
